VIRTUAL & IN PERSON SPEAKING SERVICES

This workshop is for student-athletes and athletic department staff. Participants will learn about and discuss diversity matters and how they can be allies. Small group discussions, active participation, and various participatory exercises will allow participants to share personal stories and experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

This workshop will introduce student-athletes and coaches to the fundamentals of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and how society and athletics mirror each other. The intent is to build a more inclusive community while challenging the student-athletes and staff to be agents of social change. 

This workshop will examine the benefits of workplaces, communities, and institutions that foster belonging & inclusion. Participants will receive advice on creating such an environment and how to begin these conversations in your organization. We will cover why diversity is not enough and what we can do about it.

In this workshop, you will gather the tools and gain the knowledge needed to successfully plan and implement an effective mentoring program in your school or district. You will also receive resources to help access ALANA students who would benefit from a mentor.

This interactive session is for First-Generation students, ALANA students, or their families. This session will provide tools of support and empowerment while giving essential advice on how to be successful in navigating higher education.
